Floral Fairy Light - Diwali Decor (72inch length, battery operated)

On Diwali night the light is the whole point, and a plug socket is never where you need it. Each strand carries cream and peach flowers with small pearls along the rope, seventy two inches of it, with the warm bulbs sitting between them. Hang several side by side from a frame and you have the whole backdrop behind Lakshmi and Ganesh. Use one on its own across the door or down the table. There is no wire to plug in, so nothing has to be hidden.

How many do I need?

• 1 or 2 for a pooja shelf, a mirror or down the middle of a table
• 3 to frame the front door, one across the top and one falling down each side
• 6 for a half backdrop behind the chowki, strands hung close together
• 10 for the full pooja backdrop in the photographs, hung side by side across a four foot frame
• The flowers and pearls do not light up. The small bulbs along the rope give the light.

Where to use it

• Hung side by side as the backdrop behind the Lakshmi Ganesh chowki
• Swagged across the top of the frame with the rest falling either side
• Across the front door frame for the five days
• Down the centre of the dining table, or coiled into glass jars
• Over window blinds, around a mirror or along a balcony railing

Care

• Take the batteries out after Diwali and coil the light loosely to store
• No flame, no heat and no wire trailing across the floor
